This position will give you the opportunity to lead and supervise daily age-appropriate activities including outdoor adventures, sports, arts & crafts, games, swimming, educational and recreational opportunities for up to 15 campers.
Nature Camp is an outdoor camp held at Wilde Lake Park. We use Wilde Lake Barn as a drop off location and for our indoor activities and during rainy or code red days.
Requirements:
The pay range for this position is $16.00 to $20.00/per hour. The actual pay rate offered will depend on the overall qualifications of the individual applicant for the position and the amount budgeted for the role. - Must be 18 years of age by June 23, 2025.
- Current certification in First Aid and CPR, or able to become certified before camp session begins (current certifications must be maintained throughout employment).
- Previous experience as a counselor, teacher, childcare provider or a related field.
- Physical ability to participate in activities with campers (run, sit on the floor, walk and stand for longer periods of time)
