Job Title: Program AttendantReports to: Program Director

Status: Non-Exempt

Department: Programs

Schedule: Part-time

Pay Range: 16.66 - 21.00

Position Summary

The Program Attendant is responsible for overseeing the children and families during a planned club function. The Program Attendant assures that the children and program facilities are safe and clean. Performance of this position is reviewed in terms of the Program Attendant’s ability to positively interact with children and members, maintain control over the program space and children, and handle Program paperwork accurately.

Critical Success Factors

• Must stay current on industry trends and safety issues.
• Positively Promote the department through personal connections and leading programs.
• Ability to safely and effectively lead/staff programs.
• Must wear proper uniform.
  
  

Essential Functions

• Must decorate program space if necessary.
• Responsible for greeting guests and taking presents (if applicable).
• Responsible for entertaining program/party guests.
• Maintain a safe and clean program environment.
• Build and maintain working relationships with members.
• First Aid and CPR skills should be used if necessary.
• Wear appropriate uniforms.
• Arrive on time for programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to interact effectively with people.
• Ability to problem solve service members' needs.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to work well with youth and adults.
• Well organized and accurate in the handling of paperwork and record keeping.
• Must have knowledge of facility emergency procedures.
• Available to work varied schedules including nights and weekends.
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children.
• CPR certified (If you do not have this we will help you obtain it)
