Summary: The Consumer Compliance Lead will execute on the Compliance Monitoring & Testing program as created by the Chief Compliance Officer. The Lead will help facilitate the Bank's identification of Compliance risks and test accordingly with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. The incumbent will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to Compliance requirements and provide training and guidance to staff on Compliance matters in consultation with the Compliance Leadership Team.

Compliance Monitoring & Testing
- Lead and execute individual Compliance Monitoring & Testing reviews and adhere to the approved 3-year Risk based compliance schedule.
- Create workpapers to document findings and support conclusions conveyed via Compliance monitoring and testing reports.
- Update Risk Assessments to maintain meticulous records of testing results for audits and reviews by regulatory bodies and senior management.
- Collaborate with senior management and business lines to define the objectives and scope of Compliance testing.
- Ensure timely tracking and validation of remedial actions, confirming the resolution of issues identified during testing.
- Update management and Board-level reporting ensuring key metrics are relevant and up-to-date.
- Develop and maintain key metrics for Risk Management, providing quantitative analysis to support decision-making.
- Keep abreast of regulatory changes and emerging issues to continuously improve the compliance program.
- Monitor the regulatory environment and develop processes for responding to new or amended legislation internally.
- Direct and participate in Compliance training programs.
- Provide responses to business line inquiries on the applicability of a regulation.
- Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field required, with an MBA or similar advanced degrees being preferred.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in a Risk Management, Consumer Compliance, Audit, or Quality Assurance role within the financial industry required.
- 10 years of experience in the financial services industry required.
- Relevant industry certifications such as CRCM or CMCP or federally commissioned compliance examiners required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills with the ability to pivot between multiple tasks and meet tight time constraints while working independently with little or no supervision.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and build collaborative working relationships
- Strong command consumer compliance regulations governed by the OCC and CFPB is required.
- Prior experience in at an FFIEC member agency is highly desirable.
- History of executing on top-down risk-focused testing methodologies, process development, and corrective action implementation are highly desirable.
