Your Role
Columbia Basin Care is seeking an Office Specialist to join our team in The Dalles, Oregon. This position is full time requiring 32-40 hours per week.
The responsibilities held by this position are to provide administrative support within our Business Office. The ideal candidate will assist with office operations, answer inquiries, manage resident accounts, and ensure a seamless office experience for both residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls, greet visitors, and direct them to appropriate personnel.
- Assist residents with Trust Accounts, petty cash transactions, and maintain accurate records.
- Process payments, prepare bank deposits, and manage facility petty cash.
- Assist in processing invoices and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare and organize employee and resident documentation, including new hire and admission packets.
- Schedule and coordinate resident appointments, ensuring timely transportation.
- Order and maintain office supplies, provide support across departments as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident and employee information.
- Attend staff meetings and training as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; office or bookkeeping training preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, email, and general computer skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance and meet job requirements.
Physical Requirements:
- Normal visual and auditory acuity; ability to stand, walk, and carry up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and perform various physical tasks.
- Potential for exposure to blood and body fluids.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
