Position Overview: We are currently seeking a customer-focused and knowledgeable individual to join our team as an Automotive Service Advisor. The ideal candidate will serve as a liaison between our customers and the service department, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for all.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle symptoms.
- Communicate effectively with technicians to relay customer information and ensure accurate diagnostics and repairs.
- Provide customers with detailed estimates of services and repairs, including labor and parts costs.
- Educate customers on recommended maintenance and necessary repairs.
- Schedule appointments and prioritize work orders to meet customer needs and service department efficiency.
- Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle repairs and estimated completion times.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Upsell additional services and accessories based on customer needs.
- Maintain accurate and organized service records.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or a similar customer service role in the automotive industry.
- Knowledge of automotive systems, parts, and repairs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with automotive service software and tools.
- Sales experience and the ability to upsell services.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or automotive certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
