As a Powder Lab Assistant team member, you will play a crucial role in the production process of our powder lab process within our lab facility. Powder Lab Assistant Responsibilities
· Weigh and blend raw materials following a provide written formula
· Pay attention to details such as weights, materials, and condition to the blend.
· Maintain stock levels of formulated powders and daily batches based on orders.
· Assist with custom color matches and new products.
· Maintain detailed records of formulation receipes, test results, production batches, etc
· Quality Control by performing test to ensure quality standards
· Performs various physical duties as assigned
· Maintain all safety standards
· Repackage powder paint into smaller quantity packaging
· Performs some specialized tasks which may require on the job training for packaging and shipping
· Effectively using heavy and light equipment, depending on the assignment
· Moving tools, items or equipment as directed by supervisor
· Maintain Clean and Safe Work Environment
Requirements/Skills
· Able to read labels, safety warnings and guidelines
· Able to use a scale and do mathematical calculations.
· Able to learn and use the tools for the formulation process.
· Able to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers
· Attentive to detail and alert at all times to ensure safety
· Able to lift up to 50 pounds or more, standing on feet for long periods of time, Physical stamina and strength
· Requires getting your hands dirty, wear clothes that you don't mind staining
· Focus on Quality Control
· Dexterity and eye – hand coordination
