Columbia College (www.ccdc.edu) in Vienna, VA is looking for a Cosmetology Program Instructor who has a professional experience as a stylist/cosmetologist and teaching experience as an instructor. This position is hourly based, part-time teaching position and the ideal candidate must have a valid Cosmetology License and Cosmetology Instructor License.

[Tentative Schedule]
- Monday - Wednesday, 11:00 am - 5:00 pm
- 5 hours per day, 1 hour of lunch break is non-payable.
[Duties and Responsibilities]
- Knowledgeable in the field of Cosmetology
- Teach theory (Chapters in Milady) and practicum classes
- Prepare students for the board license exam
- Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to maintain successful relationships with students and colleagues
- Adhere to health and safety procedures
- May have to visit main campus and go to salon (located in Centreville, VA) at times
- Other tasks as assigned
[Qualification/Requirements]
- *Valid Cosmetology Instructor License
- Associate's Degree or above in Cosmetology or related field.
- Previous teaching experience preferred.
- Great Communication Skills in oral and written
- Time Management and Organization Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
