Our Crisis Team is looking to hire qualified crisis counselors for our Mobile Crisis Team!

Position : Crisis Counselor II (QMHP)

Schedule : 40 hours (flexible scheduling)

Salary Range : $64,147.20 - $81,078.40 (annual). There are 15 steps on our salary scale. We use a bona fide factor system to determine starting wage (years of experience, education, credentials, and specialty skills that relate to the job requirements).

  • Position Requirements : Master’s degree in psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work or related field from an accredited college required. Work experience in a behavioral or mental health setting preferred. Combination of education / experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties outlined for this position may be considered.

    Summary :

    The Mobile Crisis Counselor II provides crisis intervention, suicide prevention, risk assessment, and brief supportive counseling over the phone and in-person on a basis to clients who are experiencing emotional distress, suicidal ideation, and / or seeking information on available mental health services. The Crisis Counselor actively partners with community resources to enhance available support and maintains detailed records of interactions with individuals.

    Working conditions : This position is a community-based position that works from our Mountain View office location. This position will require travel (mostly within our county).
