This position starts at a competitive wage of $17.50/hour, depending on CNA certification (not required) and prior experience. We provide amazing benefits and perks for both full and part-time positions, including medical, dental, and vision on the first of the month following 30 days of employment, eligibility for vacation benefits, double-time for working holidays, and earned wage access. Responsibilities Include (but Not Limited To)
- Prepares medications for Residents
- Assists Residents in taking medications, as per physician order
- Monitors for effectiveness and untoward effects of medications, and provides education to Residents.
- Obtains blood sugars, vital signs and other bio measurements as ordered
- Motivates, encourages and provides positive feedback to the Residents when assisting with medications
- Follows established policies and procedures for record-keeping on the Medication Administration Record (MAR) and any associated forms related to assisting the Resident with medications
- Provides hands-on care to Residents
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medication Technician certification required
- Diabetes training required
- CPR/ First Aid preferred
The Following Shift Is Available For This Position
- Full-time and Part-time; second shift (2:45pm-11:15pm)
Shift Differentials: Evening: $2.00, Night: $2.00
