Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our talented team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, providing excellent service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain knowledge of the menu offerings, including cocktails, wines, and beers, to provide recommendations to guests.
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately using the Toast POS system.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the bar area at all times.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere, providing prompt service and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance bartending skills and knowledge of new trends in the industry.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and basic math skills for handling transactions effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Experience with fine dining establishments is a plus, as well as an understanding of brewing techniques for craft beers.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
