What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Services Technician position at Columbia County Health System?
We are looking to hire a full-time Environmental Services Technician in Dayton, WA!
Our Environmental Services team is dedicated to ensuring the sanitization and cleanliness of every corner of CCHS; the team is personable, communicates with patients, families, employees and other health system personnel.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour, based on years of experience, education, and licensing
- Full-Time, 40 hours/week
- Full-Time Benefits include: Medical/Dental/Vision & Basic Life Insurance; eligibility to participate in a 401K Plan, as well as PTO and Sick Time Accruals
In this role, you will clean all areas that are assigned, clean and make beds in both patient and resident care areas, handle hazardous waste, and perform regular and terminal cleans. You will maintain strict patient confidentiality, communicate with patients, employees, and other health personnel, and contribute to teamwork.
Experience in working with cleaning materials, hazardous waste, floor cleaning, and experience in a health care environment is preferred.
