Job Description
The Part-Time Utility Worker will be responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting. Additionally, the successful candidate will assist with light maintenance and drive transit vehicles as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize restroom facilities and fixtures
- Maintain floors and carpets through regular sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
- Dust and polish furniture and equipment
- Perform general janitorial duties, including window washing and wall cleaning
- Operate transit vehicles safely and efficiently
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous janitorial experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license and insurability under the county's liability policy
