What are the responsibilities and job description for the Treasury Clerk position at Columbia County?
SUMMARY: Processes license applications and receipts and assists with general office duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
1. Processes applications daily at the counter or by mail (e.g. hunting, boat, small games of chance, dog, fishing), receiving applications and fees, checking information for accuracy and completeness, verifying payment with fee schedule, checking license receipts from other agencies, reconciling license accounts, preparing account reports for Department of Agriculture, Fish Commission, and Game Commission.
2. Processes receipts, posting general fund receipts from various County departments, assisting with posting to computer
3. Assists with general office duties, updating files, processing payments, etc.
4. Helps in other departments where needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.71 per hour
