Job Description:
As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be stationed on the production floor, conducting inspections, tests, and checks to ensure that our products meet the required specifications before they reach our customers.
Essential Functions
- Perform thorough inspections of products at various stages of production to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Use precision measuring tools and equipment to verify dimensional accuracy.
- Conduct visual inspections to identify any defects, discrepancies, or non-conformities.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Document inspection results, maintain accurate records, and generate quality reports.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of quality control processes and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Follow established safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Assist in the calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a quality control inspector in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with quality control techniques, inspection tools, and testing methodologies is preferred.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.
- Understanding of technical drawings and specifications is an asset.
