Electrical Designer
Compensation: $60,000 - $90,000 annually, DOE (Exempt)

Our offerings include engineering, design, fabrication, instrumentation and controls, and technology development. We specialize in fixed-price design/build/test projects for federal and commercial clients. We are currently seeking an Electrical Designer to join our team.
We are currently seeking an Electrical Designer to join our team. The Electrical Designer will work within project teams to develop electrical system designs from concept through fabrication and field installation. Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to originate electrical designs.
- Design Hanford One-Lines, Panel Boards, P&ID, Power Supply Cabinets, Control Cabinets, and Tank Waste Retrieval Systems.
- Create Engineering Change Notices (ECN) and Drawing Change Notices (DCN) for Hanford drawings.
- Develop UL508A fabrication drawings with minimal oversight.
- Incorporate engineering comments and shop redlines into drawings.
- Assist with assembly and wiring of UL508A electrical cabinets.
- Create as-built and redline drawings for fabricated equipment.
- Follow project specifications to ensure production goals are achieved.
- Solve problems and learn on the job in a fast-paced environment.
- Work in a fabrication facility as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 2-Year Degree in Drafting or Engineering Technology
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Must be a US citizen
Software Proficiency:
- Autodesk AutoCAD (required)
- Autodesk Inventor
- SmartPlant
- Microsoft Office
