The Trucking Dispatch/Logistics Coordinator plays a vital role in the success of our organization. This position is responsible for scheduling and securing inbound and outbound shipments of raw materials and finished product.
Responsibilities
- Schedule inbound & outbound shipments for cores, raw materials, and finished product.
- Create and maintain strong working relationships with dedicated truck line vendors.
- Verify freight charges received by truck lines and process payments efficiently.
- Work effectively with on-site team members to ensure safe and efficient turns.
- Organize workload to meet internal and external customer demands.
- Assign shipping instructions to orders and coordinate with pallet yard leaders.
- Complete Ship Log with pertinent information.
- Maintain all Freight Rates and check every order to ensure adequate coverage of Freight Costs.
