Summary
We are seeking a Packer to join our team at Columbia Fruit Packers. In this role, you will be responsible for packing fruit products with care and efficiency, contributing to our mission of delivering top-quality fruit to the marketplace.
Responsibilities
- Warehouse associate to perform grading, sorting, stacking, packing and repacking of fruit in a warehouse setting
- Ensure that all packed items meet quality control guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the packing process.
- Examine and inspect fruit to ensure that the packing specifications are met.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Report any issues or discrepancies in product quality to supervisors.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to collaborate with others.
- Basic understanding of food safety practices is preferred but not required.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift boxes as needed.
