POSITION SUMMARY
The Clubhouse Attendant ensures inside components of golf operations is facilitated. This specifically relates to customer check in, customer booking, pro shop cleanliness, along with other responsibilities to maintain a professional Clubhouse.
The Clubhouse Attendant must have excellent listening skills and an eagerness to provide excellent service. Must be flexible in meeting the varying scheduling needs of the Club and may be required to work additional hours than scheduled, if necessary. This position requires a highly self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision and interact with golfers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
It must be recognized that all specific duties cannot be listed and that responsibilities will change accordingly as the need arises.
- Meets and greets all guests in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
- Communicates in a clear and professional manner that assists guests in playing the course.
- Ensure pro shop is stocked of merchandise in a presentable way.
- Coordinates with Cart Attendant to maintain a consistent level of cart availability and to ensure guests are following the rules.
- Communicates to Cart Attendant about any changes to the tee sheet or any updates that need to be addressed on the course (broken golf cart).
- Maintains good personal hygiene, reports to work wearing a clean, neat uniform that follows uniform standards.
- Ability to explain golf products and services and other information about Columbia Golf Club & The Bridges to all guests.
- Work with Supervisor or Managing Owners in setup and execution of tournaments and outings.
- Participates in required employee orientation and safety trainings.
- Report guest complaints promptly to Supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS
Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Minimum Age 18
Ability to Stand 6-8 Hours
A positive attitude while on the job is always essential.
Minimum of 2-3 days a week availibility as well as at least 2 days available for the weekend out of the entire month.
