What are the responsibilities and job description for the Golf Cart Attendant position at Columbia Golf Club?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. This position will be one of the first to greet and assist the guests when they arrive to the course
2. Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment including trash and debris in the parking lot and around the building
3. Maintain the condition of golf carts with specific attention to their cleanliness and appearance
4. Remain courteous and professional with patrons and co-workers at all times
5. Refer all major problems/complaints to a manager
6. Communicating the need for supplies necessary for day to day operations of their given areas
7. Follow procedures for proper opening and closing of the cart operations
8. Maintain order and continuity of player traffic
Qualifications:
Ability to work without close supervision, minimum age of 16, Good work ethic, responsible, courteous, good communication skills, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and valid driver’s license. Must possess a positive attitude and a sense of pride and accomplishment with one’s work.
