Description
JOB SUMMARY: This position performs food service work involving preparing, distributing, and serving food and beverages; cleaning equipment and work areas; maintaining inventories and supplies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Greets guests and accurately completes their food orders.
- Provides assistance with preparing meals.
- Distributes and serves meals, beverages, and snacks.
- Cleans dining, service, and food preparation areas.
- Cleans and sterilizes dishes, kitchen utensils, and equipment
- Maintains and refills supplies of condiments and similar items as needed.

Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES NEEDED TO PERFORM THIS ROLE:
- Knowledge of food preparation methods, food storage and preservation, and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to prepare and serve food; to clean dining, serving, and food preparation areas; and to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to greet customers and maintain a friendly disposition.
- Develop competence with basic cash handling; basic math skills to provide proper change.
- The person needs to be a self-starter, self-directed, detail-oriented, and have the ability to multi-task.
- Strong organizational, phone and writing skills are required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Experience in food service and customer service experience preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
- The employee must occasionally lift, and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally move or lift up to 30 pounds, stand for long periods of time and operate kitchen machinery.
- Position may require frequent bending, stooping and walking.
