What you will do…
The Marketing Coordinator is a member of the CGCC Office of Advancement. This position reports to the Executive Director of College Advancement and supports the execution of marketing and communication strategies across the college and the CGCC Foundation. Responsibilities include :
- Implementing, tracking, and reporting on targeted marketing plans, which rely heavily on digital marketing and communications tactics.
- Making recommendations about the appropriate media mix, and developing content for all digital and traditional marketing platforms.
- Writing, copy editing, creating videos, newsletters, blog content, and other stories.
- Collaborating across departments to meet organizational marketing and social media needs, supporting fundraising, increasing student and community participation in programs and events, increasing brand awareness, and supporting student recruitment.
- Managing CGCC’s online communities, including responding to comments, answering messages, and ensuring a safe environment, especially for marginalized communities.
- Collaborating with web / IT and Student Services teams to enforce brand consistency, outreach measures, DEI practice, and mission communication.
