A collaborative, equity-minded leader to serve as the CGCC Industrial Training and Assessment Center Coordinator (ITAC). The ITAC Coordinator is responsible for creating, assessing, and continuously improving the policies, processes, and practices necessary to: facilitate equitable student learning and success; deliver excellent service; and, accomplish the work of the Instructional Services division. The Instructional Services division includes CGCC ITAC, Advanced Manufacturing and Fabrication Department.
This role reports directly to the CGCC ITAC Department of Energy Principle Investigator (PI). The successful candidate will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and be driven by a genuine desire to advance the College’s Mission and Priorities. Accordingly, the ITAC Coordinator will provide excellent service with a focus on closing equity gaps in educational access and attainment, and will work to promote inclusive prosperity throughout the Columbia Gorge region.

Columbia Gorge Community College serves a diverse region in north-central Oregon and south-central Washington. CGCC acknowledges we are on the homelands of the Confederated Tribe of the Yakama Nation and neighboring tribes as well as the 14 bands along the Inchi I’wana (Columbia River). What you will do…
- Direct interface and on-site visits with local Small and Medium Manufacturers (SMM’s) for coordination with the Industrial Training and Assessment Center (ITAC) at Columbia Gorge Community College (CGCC).
- Collaborate with Oregon Manufacturing Extension Project (OMEP) in their needs and use of the labs and services of the ITAC.
- Work with AM&F Faculty directly to coordinate them with Local SMM’s
- Train with Oregon State University ITAC as needed for DOE grant reporting guidelines, and ITAC processes and procedures
- Responsible for ITAC additive manufacturing curricula development, and curricula pathway coordination with OSU.
- Interface with contractors and architects for renovation and fit out of Additive Manufacturing Lab
- Learn and utilize employee resource portal for capital procurement or equipment according to relevant purchasing law and in cooperation with CGCC’s Business Office
- Curate hot lab, reductive lab, additive labs, metrology labs at Skills Center for the ITAC.
- Supplement ITAC workflow with CAD, CAM and process support
- Assist and complete relevant report outs within federal grant reporting processes to the Department of Energy
- Inspire a diverse group of employees through mentoring, professional development, and coaching; provide leadership, coordination, and oversight for the College's Administrative Services unit to integrate and support all areas of the College in service to the Mission.
- Develop and use intercultural fluency to support community-led advancement across the college's service area
- Use culturally responsive practices to benefit students, employees, and communities with historically marginalized identities
- Dismantle systems and barriers in order to achieve equitable student success

2 years relevant experience in Manufacturing preferred.
