Organizational Background:
Columbia Grain International, LLC. is a long time established full-service grain company in the grain and pulses business. We are headquartered in Portland, Oregon and own/operate over 50 elevators and offices throughout WA, ID, MN, MT, NE and ND to support our domestic and export sales program.

Position Description:
The primary responsibility of Seasonal Harvest Help be greeting all walk-in business, answering and directing phone calls, data entry and weighing trucks (inbound and outbound) and grade grading. Seasonal Harvest Help will work with the other members of the team to work toward operational goals while maintaining quality and efficiencies.
Duration: This position is temporary, running from July to September.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet all visitors in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
- Answer multi-line phone system and direct calls to the appropriate party.
- Weighing trucks and sampling grain for moisture, weight, and condition.
- Process paperwork per department procedures; to include data entry.
- Maintains a professional and safe work environment.
Qualifications

Skills, Knowledge, Education and Experience:
- Highschool diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and assignments with deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills (both orally and in writing) and the ability to interact with all levels within the company, and with vendors and customers.
- Basic knowledge of working with a computer and Microsoft Office.
- Good work ethic (team environment, both safe and quality), efficient and willingness to perform all required work with good attendance.
Successful completion of initial and ongoing employment screens, including but not limited to criminal background and vehicle record as required.
