Description
The Technical Library Specialist will organize, catalog, and control the distribution of technical data maintained in the Technical Library, both physical and virtual, as well as provide reference and research support to library users.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Catalogs technical data, based on industry and professional library standards released to the Technical Library from a variety of sources.
- Reproduces data on demand for distribution to internal and external users, as well as newly released data per defined distribution policies.
- Controls document distribution from the Technical Library.
- Provides reference support to the users of the CHI Technical Library, specifically assisting them in using the resources available and with research support.
- Processes, tracks, and updates distributed and returned controlled data transmittals.
- Maintains the organization of data in the Technical Library (both physical and virtual) by updating web presence; ordering and maintaining up-to-date technical data and specifications; and checking-in, filing and shelving documents and materials.
- Conduct oneself in accordance with Companys Core Values.
- Other duties as assigned.
