The Aftermarket Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and business development for aviation aftermarket products and services, including spare parts, MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) solutions, and support contracts. This role involves developing strategic partnerships, managing customer relationships, and identifying growth opportunities to maximize revenue from existing and new clients.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase aftermarket revenue for spare parts, MRO services, and support contracts
- Identify and target new business opportunities within existing platform operators. MRO providers, leasing companies, and defense sectors
- Identify additional sales opportunities in existing customer base
- Ensuring profitability and long-term customer satisfaction
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including , aircraft operators, and MRO service providers
- Serve as the primary point of contact for aftermarket sales inquiries, ensuring prompt and professional responses
- Conduct regular customer visits, presentations, and technical discussions to understand customer needs
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to adapt sales strategies accordingly
- Work closely with marketing and product teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns tailored to the aviation aftermarket sector
- Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and availability of aftermarket products and services
- Assist in pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and service level agreements (SLAs)
- Support internal teams with forecasting, inventory management, and sales planning
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Business, Sales, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
- 5 years of experience in aviation aftermarket sales, MRO sales, or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of aviation spare parts, MRO operations, and airline procurement processes
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
- Experience with ERP and CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce)
- Understanding of aviation regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA, etc.)
- Multilingual skills are a plus, especially in regions with high aviation activity
