Performs administrative duties to support the Columbia Helicopters Inc. (CHI) Training Department and maintains the Learning Management System (LMS), driver database, and employee qualifications. Coordinates with Human Resources in training/onboarding new-hires and processing terminations. Works with departments to ensure proper training and documentation of supporting paperwork to process updates to various rosters. Supports the Training Department with various administrative responsibilities. Ensures drivers are qualified with the appropriate documentation to remain compliant with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) guidelines.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintains and oversees the LMS by monitoring training of employees, uploading licenses and certifications, setting up learning packages, and other related functions.
- Performs administrative duties to support the drivers. This involves maintaining the Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) database and driver training tracker database to remain FMCSA compliant.
- Responds to email inquiries. (Uploading emailed certificates and licenses, answering questions about LMS obstacles, creates driver files upon request, etc.)
- Runs reports. Upon request, runs various reports throughout the week such as flight ops, maintenance crews, expired training, and driver reports.
- New Hires. Coordinates with hiring managers to assign training, presents HeliBase overview during orientation, sets up new hires on training devices while troubleshooting any issues, and monitors new hires throughout the initial training process. (Additional coordination required for field mechanics.)
- Works with Field Maintenance Management, Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) Managers, Quality, and the Technical Library to document supporting paperwork and ensure proper training is complete before the appropriate updates are made to the rosters (i.e. authorizations, position changes, etc.).
- Maintains CHI's Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Aviation Maintenance Technicians (AMT) Awards program.
- Conducts oneself in accordance with CHI's Core Values.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent and two years of administrative experience (typing, records management, and use of typical office equipment).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Electronic file maintenance and tracking experience preferred.
