What you’ll do:
The Brass Tacks

• Oversee day-to-day operations, including purchasing and controlling cost of goods, inventory levels, supplies, expenses and labor.
• Build and maintain a team, ensuring that employees abide by Food and Beverage SOPs and are given opportunity for ongoing training.
• Set work schedules according to business demands while maintaining target labor costs.
• Able to perform all front and back of house functions including all opening and closing procedures
• Arrange food, dishware and glasses to make attractive displays.
• Deliver a unique customer experience through high quality products and customer service, increasing guest perception.
• Keep all counters and work areas neat and clean at all times.
• Provide guidance to guests on resort activities, dining options and general resort information.
• Clean up after customers and clean work area.
• Wash all dishes after each use..
• Perform regular inventory to help maintain proper inventory levels.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Perform other duties as and when assigned by the hotel management.
• Regular reporting to the Hotel Manager.
• Track food and beverage waste
• Assist with other tasks/responsibilities as needed.

The Nitty Gritty

• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus and promotions
• Handle and move objects, using hands, arms and entire body.
• Understanding and ensuring compliance with all Idaho food service laws.
• Detail-oriented, enthusiastic and hard-working.
• Ability to communicate, read and write in English fluently and in a professional manner.
• Understanding of resort market unique challenges and opportunities.
• Ability to proactively manage difficult situations and people.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work with minimal direction.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull items as heavy as 50 pounds.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, certificate or degree in F&B a plus
• Previous F&B experience a plus
• Serv-safe Certification a plus
