People Systems Analyst (Remote) | Columbia Hospitality

We are seeking a People Systems Analyst to play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing our People Systems, ensuring data integrity, and providing valuable insights to support our People & Culture strategic initiatives.

What you'll do : The Brass Tacks

  • Serves as the subject matter expert and technical point-of-contact providing system analysis for Dayforce configuration changes and updates
  • Ensure HR technology issues are resolved timely. Troubleshooting, resolving or escalating issues when needed
  • Responsible for data integrity in all HCM systems, monitoring integrations to / from all systems
  • Provides oversight and administrative functions including security, business process administration, integrations, and upgrades
  • Provide day-to-day application support for break / fix incidents and user issues for Dayforce and other people systems (Skilljar, Netsuite, Betterworks, Beekeeper)
  • Develop and generate custom reports, dashboards, and metrics to support HR and organizational decision-making
  • Analyze trends in workforce data and provide actionable insights
  • Support compliance reporting requirements, including EEO, ACA, and other regulatory needs
  • Provide solutions and implement fixes to configuration, file feed, and system issues
  • Maintains HCM security and role configuration
  • Partner with HR and HR Shared Services to develop user procedures, guidelines, and training materials. Conduct straining to users on processes / functionality
  • Collaborates with business partners & actively consults functional users to analyze current existing processes, user goals, and gaps in current user experience to drive business process improvement and day-to-day support of business needs
  • Provide technical support and guidance to HR team members and end-users.
  • Develop training materials and conduct user training sessions on system functionalities and updates
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for people systems-related inquiries and issues
  • Partner with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities to streamline and automate HR processes.
  • Recommend and implement system enhancements to improve the user experience.
  • Lead or support HRIS upgrades, patches, and implementations.
  • The Nitty Gritty

  • A minimum of 2 years experience with Ceridian Dayforce application
  • 4 years of HRIS Administration and configuration experience required
  • 2 years leading HR / HRIS projects
  • 2 years designing and developing customer reporting preferred
  • HCM system technical application experience; Functional knowledge of HR, Payroll, Talent Management, Applicant Tracking, Onboarding, and Benefit processes
  • Strong customer focus to partner with internal HR / Payroll / Benefits / Recruiting and Business clients to resolve issues and anticipate business needs
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to provide a high level of customer service while functioning in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Must be resourceful, proactive, able to multi-task, and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
  • Understanding and working experience with Backend technologies, including APIs and web services is beneficial
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid understanding of HR processes, policies, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
