We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to inspect Aerospace quality parts per customer blueprints and specifications in a machine shop environment, enhancing our organization's productivity.

Experience and Education:
The candidate should have 5-10 years' experience in dimensional inspection. Repair station experience is beneficial. Proficiency in reading operation sheets, blueprints, and specifications is necessary. A demonstrated proficiency with geometric tolerancing (GD&T) is preferred. Proven experience in using a CMM and Aerospace industry quality experience are advantageous. The candidate must be proficient with computers, Windows operating systems, and Microsoft Office programs.

- Operate a CMM for inspection, with knowledge of CMM applications.
- Perform complex dimensional layout inspections to operation sheets/blueprints.
- Generate and complete Inspection Method Sheets.
- Understand and comply with Standard Process Instructions.
- Inspect 1st piece, in-process, and final machined and sheet metal parts.
- Document inspection results by completing reports and inputting data into the quality database.
- Verify that production router operations are signed and completed.
- Verify part marking requirements.
- Manage Gage Calibration activities, maintaining a proactive approach to calibration at the site.
