The Medical Group Project Manager is responsible for managing projects to ensure the successful implementation of solutions in support of Columbia Memorial Hospital’s Medical Group objectives. Provides leadership in the continual improvement of clinic operation that has either broad impacts across the organization or deep impacts within a particular business area. Brings new or best practices from the project management discipline back into the organization. Manages and is accountable for the project scope, schedule, budget, quality, communication, risk management, and issue management.
Job Requirements
Knowledge of /Skill/Ability to:
Ability to formulate and operationalize new concepts and ideas for improvement. Ability to work independently. Possess strong project management and problem-solving skills, as well as strong working knowledge of various software packages.
License/Certification:
Preferred: PMI Certification
Education and/or Experience:
- Minimum Education Bachelor Degree in Business Management or related field
- Minimum Experience: Five years health care management experience
- Preferred: MBA

Physical Demands and Work Environment Conditions / ADA Compliance
Position involves standing, walking, stooping, and occasional carrying and lifting of lightweight materials (up to 20 pounds). May be required to sit for extended periods of time. Requires visual acuity and depth perception to recognize words and numbers; and hand and finger dexterity and hand/eye coordination to use a computer keyboard and common office equipment.
