JOB SUMMARY
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Marketing Manager and Vice President of Marketing & Air Service Development by completing various marketing, communications, social media and advertising related job duties and functions. Additionally, the Marketing Coordinator will oversee and manage CAE marketing activations in the community, while also overseeing CAE’s indoor advertising project – all with the support and direction of the Marketing Manager and Vice President of Marketing and Air Service Development.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Draft press releases, talking points, etc. as needed for the airport.
- Manages the ordering of marketing swag for all events, giveaway, internal staff needs, etc.
- Works closely with Vice President of Marketing & Air Service Development to learn and later manage the indoor advertising program for the airport.
- Works closely with the Marketing Manager to learn CAE’s brand guidelines for CAE, as well as social media standards and internal policies to support posting as needed.
- Supports the Marketing Manager with updates and edits to the FlyCAE.com website.
- Attends community meetings and speaking engagements to learn and observe the airport’s efforts and connections within the community.
- Draft copy as needed to support CAE’s bi-monthly newsletter that is created and disseminated internally by the Marketing Department.
- Research and gather all media mentions/features regarding the airport, filing them within the Marketing Department’s internal system.
- Attend marketing activations within the community as a representative of the Marketing Department and CAE.
- Serve as point of contact for various community partnerships as needed alongside the Marketing Manager and Vice President of Marketing and Air Service Development.
- Attend conferences within the aviation industry that pertain to job/rule. (MarComm, etc.)

Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and written.
- Excellent problem solving, creativity and an ability to pivot quickly.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective and professional working relationships with others.
- Must have knowledge of social media platforms (X, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram).
- Working knowledge of WordPress is preferred but not required.
- Must be highly organized.
- Shows creativity and alternative thinking to develop new ideas and solutions for work related problems.
- Experience with essential computer programs, including Excel, Office, Teams, and Word.
- Must have strong time management skills; meeting deadlines and following up until a task or project is completed.
- Ability to effectively work independently or within a team environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Preferred 4-year degree in related field. (Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, etc.)
- 3-5 years of experience in related field.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Background in aviation or destination marketing.
- Video editing and/or reel creating skills.
PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Most work related to this position will take place indoors (office atmosphere), however, there are times throughout the year when events and programming take place outdoors, at various community venues, in spaces owned not by the airport but by various community partners, etc.
Salary : $57,461 - $60,361
