Columbia NW is looking for a Service Technician to add to the team. The Service Technician is responsible for the installation, servicing & repair of residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
Position : HVAC Service Technician
Job Type : Full-Time; Monday - Friday
Pay Range : $29.00 - $42.00 per hour SPIFF Bonus Eligible
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including heating units, air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and thermostats
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC equipment
- Perform emergency repairs and ensure timely response to service requests
- Collaborate with team members to improve overall system performance and efficiency
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
- Ensure all parts are loaded and accounted for per each job
- Check work for errors and correct them if necessary
- Maintain a professional appearance with clients and customers
- Abide by all safety rules set forth by the company and governmental agencies
- Ensure that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected
- Stay updated on industry advancements and new HVAC technologies
- Other duties as assigned
