Job Overview :
We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive, and dedicated individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, possess excellent problem-solving abilities, and deliver exceptional customer service. In this role, you will provide leadership to a team of up to 10 medical assistants between our Milwaukie and Tualatin offices, oversee clinic workflows, and actively contribute to both customer service and clinical operations. This is a full-time position based in an office setting.
Responsibilities :
- Ensure exceptional service is consistently delivered to all customers.
- Oversee the people and processes involved in providing clinical support to physicians and mid-level providers, including patient greeting, taking and recording vital signs, and gathering relevant patient information (symptoms, history, and concerns).
- Serve as a resource to the team by sharing knowledge, providing guidance, fostering confidence, and offering support and encouragement.
- Ensure adequate back-office staffing to maintain smooth workflow and meet patient care demands.
- Lead the recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of team members to ensure high standards of care and professionalism.
- Provide ongoing performance feedback and conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with team members to support their development.
- Prepare and lead group meetings, including creating meeting agendas and facilitating discussions.
- Conduct failure analysis and drive process improvements as needed to enhance efficiency and patient care.
- Actively engage in medical assistant duties, including preparing sterile instruments and medications for in-office procedures, and assisting with patient assessment and discharge following procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment to support a positive patient experience.
