Columbia Research Laboratories, one of the Leading Manufacturers of Sensors used in Aerospace, Military, and Industrial Markets, is looking to hire an experienced Electronics Technician. You will be working in a hands-on environment as a member of our team, assisting in developing and producing our latest sensors.

In this role, your duties may consist of the following technologies: lower power circuits, amplification circuits, analog electronics, low pass filters, calibrating sensors for in-process and final test data, and testing using vibration and acceleration production test stations along with environmental temperature chambers.

Other responsibilities include

  • Production and design verification testing of analog and digital circuits
  • Sensor prototyping
  • Troubleshooting circuits
  • Assisting in transitioning designs from engineering into manufacturing
  • Directly supporting end-use customers

Skills and Qualifications

  • Two or 4-year Electronics Technology Degree, or equivalent degree, or familiarity with electronics fundamentals, basic wiring, and mechanical assembly.
  • Hands-on soldering experience, J STD-001 preferred
  • Hands-on experience working with electronics
  • Experience with testing, design, and troubleshooting
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills
