What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hand Soldering and Assembly position at Columbia Research Laboratories?
Columbia Research Laboratories a Manufacturers of Sensors used in Aerospace, military, and Industrial Markets, is looking to hire an experienced Soldering/Mechanical Assembler. You will be responsible for soldering and assembly of our electronic and mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and final products.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assembly of electronic componenets onto printed circuit boards.
- Experience with soldering through-hole and surface mount components under a microscope
- Soldering ability and the capability to spend extended periods under a microscope working with very small components.
- Installing Q.C. inspected assemblies into housings.
- Soldering, Cleaning, expoxy bonding, and curing.
Requirements:
- Familiar with soldering to J-STD-001
- Good eyesight, manual dexterity, and good hand and eye coordination
- 2 to 4 years of related experience working with electronic devices
- Ability to read and adhere to technical procedures and prints
- Must works well with others in a team environment to get projects delivered in a timely manner.
- Working under a microscope for extended periods of time is required.
