Agriculture Territory Sales Manager
Range $85,000-$120,000 w/ 0-20% bonus potential

Columbia River Carbonates (CRC) is a producer of calcium carbonate derived from limestone, which is a raw material used in diverse markets. CRC is currently seeking a qualified individual for an Agriculture Territory Sales Manager position in the Pacific Northwest with a Western US market focus.
The successful individual will have responsibility for supporting sales of various CRC products in their respective region into the agriculture market and assist in managing the quality and consistency of such products as well as service delivery.
Responsibilities:
· Promote CRC’s product portfolio including calcium carbonate and calcium sulfate.
· Offer technical service assistance in the agricultural industry.
· Perform regular customer and potential customer visits.
· Develop and maintain a solid understanding of the regulations impacting the agricultural market as they pertain to CRC products.
· Maintain and develop thorough knowledge of product technical information and uses of CRC products for agricultural applications.
· Maintain close collaboration with production, R&D, and marketing.
Candidate profile requirements:
Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in an Agricultural Science or related technical field and a minimum of 3 years of sales experience or equivalent combinations of education, training and experience are required. Certified Crop Advisor or other related certification is preferred. A thorough understanding of the agricultural products industry is required.
Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills to persuade and influence others. Adept at negotiation with a strong sense for customer service. Solid knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques. Willingness to travel up to 50% and work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends and overnight travel, as necessary.
