Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with product inquiries.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits.
- Utilize upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and increase sales.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and store policies.
- Assist in organizing and cleaning the Show Room.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the store.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others.
- Experience in retail sales or commission sales environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts for inventory management and sales reporting.
- Familiarity with flooring products and measurements.
- Ability to perform product demos effectively to engage customers.
- Proficiency in using POS systems for transaction processing.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and team members effectively.
- Strong organizational skills to manage stock levels and maintain store appearance.
