Job Overview:
Columbia River Fences is seeking a skilled Lead Deck/Fence Installer to join our team. The Lead will be responsible for overseeing the installation of various deck, fence & gate projects, across Clark County (primarily in Vancouver, Camas & Washougal). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in deck/fence/gate installation & repair, carpentry, using hand tools, interpreting schematics, and leading a construction team.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead job site installation projects from start to finish
- Detect and troubleshoot issues with projects
- Collaborate with the sales team on fence/gate projects
- Ensure all installations meet industry standards and safety regulations
- Provide training to junior installers on proper installation techniques

Skills:
- Proficiency in using hand tools for installation purposes
- Experience installing wood, vinyl & metal fencing
- Previous experience managing a field crew of 3 installers
- Ability to detect and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Mechanical knowledge for installing various components
- Strong communication skills to effectively telecommunicate with team members

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week

Experience:

• Carpentry: 5 years (Required)

Ability to Commute:

• Vancouver, WA (Preferred)
