Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care during offsite vaccination clinics and as well as have a passion for working in the classroom setting with our aspiring NAC students. This role requires strong leadership and clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Onsite lead for travel vaccination teams. These teams travel all of WA State, managed by an in house Supervisor.
- Review and approve childhood vaccines.
- Administer COVID, Mpox, Childhood Vaccines and Flu shots to all appropriate patient ages.
- Monitor patients for reactions after vaccine administration.
- Administer basic first aid as needed.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with other team members.
- Educate patients and families on vaccine administration.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Teach NAC courses under the supervision of program director.
- Lead NAC skills and clinical dates under the supervision of program director.
Requirements
- Current LPN or RN license in WA State.
- Experience with pt care.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
- Teaching experience preferred.
