As a Sales Support Specialist, you will work closely with our clients and sales support team, growing corporate accounts and leaning into the needs of our businesses. Daily you will be providing a seamless client experience while leveraging our platform for efficiency and the speed of business.

Our teammates are highly trained, and vital points of contact for our clientele. This is not a typical sales support role, when you join our team, you receive ongoing and in-depth training to be a high-impact resource for our clients. Our employees are Gear Experts and you will skillfully be able to represent Gearcor and the entire Columbia Safety family of companies to our customers. Within our tight-knit group, you will rapidly acquire a complete understanding of our product lines.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for driving new business and growing existing accounts within your assigned
account base and market. As part of this opportunity, you will be expected to:

  • Answer inbound phone calls and assist with customer requests
  • Review and process orders that arrive via our web platforms
  • Creatively troubleshoot and resolve issues, building strategy for resolution before problems arise
  • Monitor open orders for past-due materials
  • Establish and maintain consistent communication methods and cadence with clients
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to create an excellent client experience
  • Provide honest, consistent, and actionable feedback to Senior Account Manager(s)
  • Other duties as needed to create an exceptional experience for our stakeholders
