Founded in the 1880s as a one-room schoolhouse located in historic Columbia State Park, Columbia Union School District (CUSD) is a one-school elementary district serving about 500 students in grades kindergarten through eight. Located two miles north of Sonora in the gold country of the Sierra Nevada Foothills, Columbia Elementary School relocated in-1936 when a new school building was constructed on Parrotts Ferry Road. Over the years the campus has expanded to meet the
needs of the growing district. In 2007, the district completed the construction of 19 state-of-the-art classrooms and an Education, Sports, and Performing Arts Complex.

Job Summary
Elementary K-2 grade teaching position in a K-8 school in the beautiful town of Columbia in Tuolumne County. Elementary school has 467 students and two to three teachers at each grade level. Tuolumne County is one of the top vacation destinations in the US.

Columbia Union School District accepts up to 15 years of service for initial employment.
Additional Compensation : $78.17 per unit above BA, $1,500 for Master's Degree, $10,000 Health and Welfare CAP.
