Medical Support Supervisor Job Description
The Medical Support Supervisor provides direct supervision to departments, teams and staff as assigned within the medical clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily operations related to clinical support staff duties of their designated Medical Clinic site
- Assist with budget, hiring, and maintaining staff who strive for excellence and maximize productivity for Providers and staff
- Demonstrate competency in providing patient care, evaluating initial and annual staff competencies, directing and coordinating care to align with CVCH clinical support services
- Fulfill nursing duties on the floors as needed to support operational needs
Requirements
- Education and Certifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
- Current Washington State Nursing License
- Current CPR certification required
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a clinic or hospital setting
- Strong interest in developing leadership and management skills
- Previous experience in community/migrant health centers preferred
- Languages:
- English required
