Job Description
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the development of life skills and therapeutic interventions
- Performing housekeeping and preparing meals
- Administering medication as prescribed
- Keeping accurate clinical documentation
You will also receive crisis de-escalation training, which requires performing various physical, hands-on maneuvers and techniques. In some cases, more notice can be provided for facility requests for coverage.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science: Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Human Development, or related field
- Three years of verifiable behavioral health experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs in a supervised setting
- Equivalent combination of behavioral science education and satisfactory supplemental behavioral health experience and training
