What are the responsibilities and job description for the Back Office Specialist position at Columbine Caregivers?
Columbine Caregivers has been the leading provider of in-home healthcare for Mesa County for over 30 years. At this time we are looking for an outstanding Back Office Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in office support functions including accounts receivables, invoicing, bookkeeping, creating internal reports as well as external reports, payroll processing, customer audit support as well as other common back office responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, very detail oriented and be able to consistently complete tasks on time. Candidate should be proficient at multitasking and problem solving.
Quickbooks Desktop experience required.
Position responsibilities:
Input receivables and other data into company books. Communicate with payer source representatives both private party as well as insurance and other payor type representatives to ensure receivables are managed effectively and timely. Create reports both for internal purposes as well as for client requests. Ensure invoicing data is prepared as needed to ensure invoicing is ready to be processed. Ensure payroll data is prepared and ready for payroll to be processed. Ensure required paperwork is processed timely with insurance and other payor sources. Work through set-up and credentialing with new payor sources. Provide support with administrative tasks and miscellaneous back office projects. Assist with basic office tasks such as answering phones, assisting caregivers and clients that come into the office as well as maintaining office cleanliness.
Position is a full time Monday through Friday role with hours of 8:30a-4:00p. At this time the company does not offer full health benefits, however we do provide Appleton Clinic membership for all office-based roles.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 45 per week
