Position Summary:
Columbine Country Club is currently seeking qualified candidates for part-time Bartender positions. These positions are responsible for providing bar service in the Club’s ala carte dining, pool bar, and banquet event facilities. Columbine offers flexible schedules with the ability to accommodate other jobs and/or school responsibilities. Qualified bartender candidates will be compensated with an hourly wage starting at $27.00./hour.
Requirements
A Bartender at Columbine will hold the following responsibilities, which will include, but are not limited to:
- Possess the skillset to produce Classic cocktails and signature Club cocktails, along with beer and wine service, while operating each bar efficiently without sacrificing quality, cleanliness, and consistency in product and experience.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of all food & beverage menus, including beer, wine, and spirits offerings while being able to describe items offered in detail from memory. Acting as a liaison between members seated at the bar and the kitchen by fully executing steps-of-service while following all service standards to provide a consistent dining experience comparable to their expertise when sitting at a table in the dining rooms.
- Understand how to operate a point-of-sale system to enter each table’s orders correctly and expediently, ensuring the food & beverages are accurately prepared and delivered to the correct position numbers.
- Assist the Club’s Dining Supervisor/Sommelier with preparing the bar for daily service by filling bar requisitions for beer, wine, liquor, dry goods, and additional bar supplies needed to produce all Club cocktails, beer, and wine service.
- Execute pre- and post-shift responsibilities as defined by the Dining Supervisor and/or the Food & Beverage Manager in an efficient manner so that the dining areas are setup properly prior to guest arrival and that the dining areas are properly cleaned at the conclusion of the meal period and all necessary sidework tasks are completed.

- Prior bartending experience with a specific focus on beverage knowledge is encouraged, though a positive attitude and eagerness to learn will overcome lack of experience.
- The ability to be on your feet for extended periods is necessary and to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation & Benefits:
The part-time position offers an hourly rate of $27.00, which includes complimentary employee meals, sick pay up to 48 hours a year (accrued based on hours worked), holiday pay, free employee parking, and provided uniforms.
