Overview
The Digital Media & Content (DMC) Intern will assist in growing and maximizing awareness of the Columbus Blue Jackets’ digital platforms. The individual will contribute to a variety of functions related to the management and maintenance of Blue Jackets digital platforms, including ideation and publishing on immerging platforms, content tagging and analysis, and live event content capture and coverage. Additionally, the DMC Intern will contribute to the planning and execution of content coverage for summer events and initiatives, such as NHL Free Agency, NHL Draft, Development Camp, Traverse City Prospects Tournament, Training Camp, and more.
Duties and tasks :
- Assist in producing compelling and creative content for BlueJackets.com and club social media platforms : Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, web, and app.
- Execute content coverage for Blue Jackets events, including, but not limited to, graphics concepting, photography, videography, copywriting, and in-real-time publishing.
- Assist in the reporting and analysis of content performance for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the organization and maintenance of BlueJackets.com.
- Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with various Columbus Blue Jackets departments.
