Territory Development Rep - Southwest OH

Columbus Brewing Company (CBC) is looking for a passionate and results-driven Territory Development Representative to join our team! This role is instrumental in driving sales growth and expanding CBC’s portfolio within the Cincinnati & Dayton regional footprint. Who You’ll Work With:

• REPORTS TO: Vice President of Sales
• DIRECT REPORTS: None

What You’ll Do:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managing distributors, accounts, and sales teams within your regional footprint.
• Achieving goals outlined in the Annual Business Plan (ABP) and Trimester Goals.
• Tracking and reporting progress toward key targets and budgets.
• Developing and executing impactful distributor programming to drive volume and distribution.
• Partnering directly with key accounts and regional chains.
• Facilitating localized execution of chain business in collaboration with CBC's Chain Account Manager.
• Planning and executing promotions and events to enhance brand awareness.
• Conducting routine market visits with distributor reps and management.
• Delivering impactful presentations to distributor sales teams.
• Strategizing innovative solutions and continuously improving processes.
• Monitoring inventory to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Traveling for market blitzes, company meetings, and other sales-related events.

What We’re Looking For:

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of beverage or consumer goods sales experience (preferred).
• Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., VIP Karma, Lilypad) and analytics tools (e.g., IRI, Nielsen).
• Exceptional communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent time management, organizational, and decision-making abilities.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must reside in the Cincinnati or Dayton Area
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record, reliable transportation, and appropriate insurance.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and more than 40 hours per week as needed.
• Moderate travel, including overnight trips and 15,000 miles of annual driving.
• Capability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
