Columbus Brick, a division of General Shale, Inc., is seeking an Inside Sales Representative for our manufacturing facility in Columbus, MS.
Under the Columbus Brick brand, General Shale manufactures a variety of face bricks and custom shapes in a broad range of colors, textures, and styles for residential and commercial applications. Established in 1890, the brand is the only U.S. brick manufacturing operation to offer genuine paper cut brick.
- Data entry in SAP computer system
- Answer the phone and respond to emails quickly and efficiently
- Assist customers with selecting material and purchases
- Assist outside sales team with inquiries, quotes and orders
- Build strong relationships with key customers
- Help manage orders and inventory
- Work in a fast paced environment with constantly changing priorities
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Must be a self-starter who is eager to learn
- 2-5 years customer service or inside sales experience, or a combination of education and experience
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP a plus
- Strong communication skills – Bilingual/Spanish a plus
