- Conducts administrative investigations using professional techniques appropriate for students, staff, parents and other members of the community.
- Acts as a liaison between the district and local authorities, including law enforcement and children services, as necessary.
- Manages a diverse caseload, responsible for establishing priorities, and producing professional reports detailing investigative findings.
- Provides professional development for district leadership and act as a resource to administrators as needed.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or public administration, or criminal justice; or one of the following:
- Three years work experience in human resources, which includes administrative investigations and/or issuance of disciplinary action.
- Three years’ work experience as a criminal investigator, or detective with a public police department
- Previous experience in a public school district.

- Posture: Prolonged sitting and standing; occasional stooping, bending, squatting, kneeling, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting.
- Motion: Frequent repetitive hand motions, including keyboarding and use of a mouse; occasional reaching
- Lifting: Occasional lifting and carrying (less than 10 pounds)
- Environment: Works in office setting; may require occasional irregular hours and/or prolonged hours.
- Attendance: Regular and punctual attendance at the worksite is required for this position.
- Mental Demands: Maintains emotional control under stress; works with frequent interruptions .
