An Instructional Assistant English Language
Learners (ELL) assists ELL teachers in reviewing and reinforcing lessons to
students; performs related duties as requested.
ELIGIBILITY: APPLICANT MUST BE FLUENT SPANISH.
An applicant must possess a high school diploma or GED recognized by the
Ohio Department of Education. Original diplomas, transcripts and
Parapro results must be presented for verification by the Classified Office of
the Human Resources Department.
- An applicant must possess a strong
desire and willingness to assist teachers and administrators in serving a
diverse student population.
- An applicant must have the ability
to develop and maintain effective working relationships with students,
parents, co-workers and supervisors.
- An applicant, if hired, must
obtain an Educational Aide Permit from the Ohio Department of Education.
SPECIAL NOTE: Must be Bilingual, Prefer strong Math/Science
Skills and good Communication Skills.
